I scrap therefore I am.

I have 2 layouts and a canvas to share today.

The first is in honor of St. Pat's Day. The pics are of Aidan and Shea from last year. I used a sketch from Stuck Sketches and I also used the prompt from Janet's March Stash challenge at Kitchen Keepsakes.

Patterned paper is mostly Jenni Bowlin with a little October Afternoon and some Tim Holtz kraft resist added in. I used lots of old chipboard that I inked with Distress ink (peeled paint). I used a JB calendar diecut and ticket plus a sturdy wooden button and a sheer ribbon flower. Alpha stickers are Sass and OA.

My second layout I created with the Scrapbook Nook's March kit. It's filled with lovely MME's Miss Caroline's line. I used an old photo of Jessica and myself. This baby is now 13!

And a close up of the cute little doily pennant, made with March's Cocoa Daisy arrow stamp.

I have also been creating canvases for an upcoming craft fair where I will have a table. This one has lots of bits and pieces of Pink Paislee on it.

Thanks for stopping by today!

It's Calvinball season. I have been scrapping. As a bonus point, paper scrappers get one point per week for making a mess and cleaning it up. If you take photos, you get extra points. Here's a look at the clean

In other news, my CHA prize package from Two Peas arrived. Tons of goodies in there. Thanks!

More Points!

So I finally scrapped a page! My first for March. I lost my mojo halfway through February and LOAD. Family illness just sucked the creativity right out of me.  A fun game of Calvinball got me going again!

So here's my layout.

I used some Sass paper from the February Studio Calico kit...also the little frame stamp. Mist is SC green (clover, I think) Butterflies are Sass for SC and I used 2 different kinds of Jenni Bowlin alpha stickers plus some BasicGrey. I spent a silly amount of time trying to find the word "everyday" and finally cut it out of an old Teresa Collins patterned paper.

I love the way this page looks! Thanks for stopping by!

Dear Lizzy Canvas

I made a small canvas board using the new American Crafts Dear Lizzy Neapolitan line. I love the soft dreamy colors in these papers and embellishments.

I painted the background with a light pink and orange acrylic paint. I also mixed in some Design Craft gelatos which I am in love with.  The letters are American Craft for Studio Calico. I painted them white and then sponged some Tim Holtz Distress Stain in pink over them. I used a few pop dots to give the Dear Lizzy butterfly banner some dimension and cut the little Polaroid from a piece of patterned paper and used the pretty mint green Dear Lizzy alpha stickers on top.  I added some cute little sequins and called it done.

Thanks for looking.

**Calvinball note**** 1 point blog post  + 1 point altered art + 2 peas challenge = 3 points BOOYAH!

Calvinball

I have never heard of Calvinball but after seeing THIS post over at JBS message board, I am all in! The rules are semi-explained HERE and subject to change. I don't like to brag (ha!) but I might already  be winning.

I created 2 cards today. The first one is for a boy named Blake.

And this one is for my dad who turns 84 next week.
I used Echo Park Times & Seasons collection pack for both.

As per Calvinball rules: 2 cards = 1 point.

I'm thinking I should make up a new rule that if you can hook up your project to a current challenge somewhere on the web, you get to add a point. So since these cards also fit into theTWO PEAS FINALLY FRIDAY card challenge, I am adding a point.

Grand total = 2 points.

WINNING!
