Color Me Scrappy

This week at Color Me Scrappy the color palette is a wonderful rustic combination.

I used some lovely Lucille patterned paper from Basic Grey to fit this challenge.

It's a layout about my sister who sadly passed away several years ago. I loved the paper because it reminds me of the 70's when these photos were taken.

I sit here in my cozy house in New York as the first flakes of what is predicted to be a blizzard start to fall. There is no place I'd rather be!

Today I have a CMS challenge to share. Here's the palette:

Baby, it's cold outside!

Here in New York, winter has finally reared it's ugly head! It is a balmy 14 degrees out today! Yesterday it warmed up to 18 degrees. Time to break out the furry boots!

I'd rather be inside scrapping! This week's color challenge at   Color Me Scrappy will warm you up!

So pretty! I had some sweet BasicGrey papers in my stash that fit this theme perfectly! I added a sweet picture of my daughter's First Communion plus a sparkly KI Memories blessed sticker. 

I used my Fiskars swiss cheese border punch to make some confetti which is always fun to glue down! =)

I hope you give it a try!

I went the holiday photo route with an emphasis on the teal with accents of the red, green and lighter blue.

In The Mood To Scrap

In The Mood To Scrap is a new weekly class at Two Peas that you can find HERE.  I did the first challenge based on a moodboard by Garden Girl Wilna.

Although its very limited as far as color palette goes, I still love the way it came out!

Merry After Christmas Week! I love the holidays and am also glad when all the Have-to-do's are over and I have time to get some scrapping done!
